Melanie Lynne Hauser
Author of Confessions of Super Mom (NAL/Penguin) and Super Mom Saves The World (NAL/Penguin)

"IN THE BEGINNING, there was the pie.  The pie was without form and texture (and any manner of identifiable filling), and darkness was upon the face of the Home Ec Teacher…"

So begins the story of two girls, a friendship, and a pie.  JUMBLE PIE, to be exact.  A Home Ec project gone very wrong, except for the fact that it brings together two very different young girls and helps them form a friendship that lasts through bad haircuts, unrequited love, endless incarnations of Madonna, and their own evolving dreams... Until New Year's Eve, 1999, when another pie comes along, resulting in a pre-party blow-up that sets Juliet and Emily, women now, to remembering how it all started.

History has given us many exceptional people.
Science just brought ten of them back.

Thomas Jefferson - Joan of Arc - Attila the Hun
William Shakespeare - Vlad the Impaler - Abraham Lincoln
Albert Einstein - Jack the Ripper

It's going to be one hell of a fight.

THE LIST is a contemporary technothriller combining the humor of Christopher Moore with the action of Clive Cussler.

Robert W. Walker
Author of over 30 novels including City for Ransom (Avon), Shadows in the White City (Harper) and City of the Absent (Harper).

Dead On explores the humor and pathos of a "failed" hero, Detective Morgan Strydwell, whose multiple attempts at suicide are constantly being interrupted by an "emergency" of one sort or another that he must attend to first.  His thinking when he sees a child in danger is to take care of that business first before "offing" himself, and this leads to a meeting with Katrina (Kat) Holley, and when this lovely creature invites him for drinks, he again puts off "eating his gun."  However, Kat Holley is not what she appears to be and their meeting leads Morgan into a noir nightmare of danger and intriuge in Atlanta, Georgia and the Blue Ridge Lake area where Kat and Morgan entice a killer who has plauged both their lives for years--the reason Strydwell is suicidal in the first place.  The novel is in the best tradition of the Maltese Falcon but with a decidedly Rambo touch and some frightful touches to say the least.
